HKBU partners with The Y. Elites Association to empower future-ready graduates

HKBU and The Y. Elites Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 27 October to nurture future-ready students through enriched learning experiences. The MoU outlines a broad spectrum of collaborative initiatives, including internship and career opportunities, entrepreneurial events, mentoring and community service projects.

Witnessed by Dr Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning) of HKBU, and Mr Jason Wong, Chairman of The Y. Elites Association, the MoU was signed by Professor Amy Lee, Director of Student Affairs of HKBU, and Mr Penny Chan, Executive Vice Chairman of The Y. Elites Association, at the signing ceremony.

Representatives from both HKBU and The Y. Elites Association expressed their enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the importance of empowering students to grow into responsible citizens with future-readiness. The collaboration reflects a shared dedication to creating meaningful opportunities for young people and fostering leadership, responsibility, and innovation. It also aims to support the whole-person development of students, equipping them with the skills and values needed to thrive in an ever-evolving global landscape.

Dr Albert Chau said, “HKBU is committed to providing students with a transdisciplinary education, and this collaboration will provide diverse avenues for students to execute their innovative ideas and create positive changes in society.”
